Govt Hikes Land Market Values
The Andhra Pradesh government has increased land market values under RUDA limits in East Godavari district, impacting property registrations from February 1, 2026.
Land Market Values Increased Across RUDA Areas
Rajamahendravaram: Property transactions in East Godavari district are set to become costlier with the State Government ordering a hike in land market values within the Rajamahendravaram Urban Development Authority (RUDA) limits. The revised values will take effect from February 1, 2026, covering all local bodies under RUDA.
District Registrar S. Satyanarayana said the decision was taken after detailed deliberations at a high-level meeting held at the District Collectorate on Saturday. In-charge District Collector Y. Megha Swaroop chaired the meeting, which included officials from the Market Value Revision Committee and other departments.
The revision was undertaken after reviewing local real estate trends and rapid urban expansion in the region. The revised rates have been published online on registration.ap.gov.in and displayed at Sub-Registrar Offices for public reference.
Stakeholders may submit their objections or suggestions at the concerned Sub-Registrar Offices by January 29, 2026. With higher stamp duty and registration fees expected post-revision, real estate professionals recommend completing registrations before the deadline. The move is also expected to strengthen the state’s revenue base.
