Delhi Power Cut Today: Areas and Timings for April 24 Outages

New Delhi: Several parts of the national capital will experience scheduled power cuts on April 24 due to maintenance work and network upgrades carried out by distribution companies.

Power distribution firms Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited and BSES Rajdhani Power Limited have announced temporary outages across multiple areas in North, North-West, West, and South Delhi. Residents in affected localities are advised to plan their daily activities to avoid inconvenience.

Areas Affected in North Delhi

In North Delhi, electricity supply will be interrupted between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM in parts of the F Block areas. Meanwhile, Siraspur is expected to face power outages from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM due to ongoing maintenance work.

Bawana, Mangolpuri and Industrial Areas

Power supply in Bawana and nearby industrial belts, including Mangolpuri, will be disrupted in phases. Outages are scheduled between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM, followed by another shutdown from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in select stretches such as F Block Sector 1 and surrounding areas.

Reason for Power Cuts

The scheduled outages are part of routine maintenance and infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving power supply reliability and network performance across the city.

Advisory for Residents

Residents and businesses in affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions, such as charging essential devices in advance and planning work schedules accordingly. Power supply is expected to be restored promptly once the maintenance work is completed.
