Peddi Trailer Early Review: Naga Vamsi Compares Ram Charan to Virat Kohli in ‘Beast Mode’

The excitement surrounding Peddi continues to grow as producer Naga Vamsi shared his early reaction to the film’s trailer ahead of its official release. Starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, the upcoming action entertainer is already being considered one of the most anticipated Telugu films of 2026.

The makers are set to release the official trailer of Peddi on May 18, 2026, across social media platforms, while the film itself is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026, with premiere shows planned a day earlier on June 3.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Naga Vamsi praised the trailer and especially highlighted Ram Charan’s powerful screen presence. Calling the trailer “pure mass cinema,” he described the actor’s performance as intense and energetic.

In his post, Vamsi wrote, “Just watched the #PeddiTrailer… this one is going straight OUT OF THE PARK.” He further compared Ram Charan’s performance to cricket superstar Virat Kohli, saying audiences have seen Kohli dominate cricket, but imagining him wrestling would resemble the kind of energy Ram Charan brings in the film.

Translated from Telugu, his statement suggested that Ram Charan appears in complete “beast mode” throughout the trailer, delivering a larger-than-life performance packed with power and intensity. The comparison quickly grabbed fans’ attention online and added even more hype to the trailer launch.

Naga Vamsi also showered praise on Janhvi Kapoor, who is making a major appearance in the Telugu film industry with Peddi. He described the actress as “ravishing” and hinted that audiences would be impressed by her screen presence and chemistry with Ram Charan.

Adding to the excitement, Vamsi teased a surprise “crossover shot” at the end of the trailer, calling it one of the biggest highlights and a moment designed especially for mass cinema lovers.

Directed and written by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features music composed by legendary composer A. R. Rahman. Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in important roles.

The film is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banners of Vriddhi Cinemas and Mythri Movie Makers.
