Bronze Brilliance: Swapnil Kusale Makes India Proud at the Olympics
Swapnil Kusale won a bronze medal for India. He claimed the 3rd medal for India in shooting at the Olympics.
Swapnil Kusale was selected as a part of the Maharashtra government sports scheme at the age of 14 where he chose shooting.
Swapnil Kusale, 28, comes from a farming family. In 2015, Kusale won the gold medal in the 50m rifle-prone event at the Asian Shooting Championships that is held in Kuwait, by competing in the junior category. At the 59th National Shooting Championship in Tughlakabad, he emerged triumphant in the 50m rifle-prone event, outshining seasoned marksmen Gagan Narang and Chain Singh.
Indian Shooter Swapnil Kusale secured a bronze medal for India. It is the third Olympic medal for India. India is very proud to have that type of player.
He won in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions final at the National Shooting Center on Thursday. Swapnil Kusale was in the third position in that game.
He gave an excellent performance in that game. He scored 451.4 points in the Shooting. The gold medal was won by Y.K. Liu from China by scored 463.6 points. S. Kulish from Ukraine won the silver medal by scoring 461.3 points in the Shooting.
He became the first Indian shooter in men’s 50m rifle 3 positions event. In an unprecedented feat, India's athletes have cumulatively earned three Olympic medals within a single edition.
This medal is the first medal for India in the 50m rifle 3 positions event.
