Tamil Nadu Leaders Condole the Demise of Actor Ajith Kumar’s Mother

Chennai, May 30: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, DMK president M K Stalin, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss, and several other political leaders on Saturday expressed deep grief over the demise of actor Ajith Kumar’s mother, Mohini Mani.

Political leaders across party lines extended heartfelt condolences to the actor and his family, describing the loss of a mother as an irreplaceable tragedy. Messages of sympathy poured in from leaders, film personalities, and fans following the news of her passing afteran illness.

In his condolence message, Chief Minister Vijay said he was deeply saddened by the demise of Mohini. “I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs Mohini, mother of my dear friend Mr Ajith Kumar. I pray that her soul may rest in peace at the holy feet of god. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Ajith Kumar, who has lost a loving mother, and to his family. May they find strength and solace in this difficult time,” he said.

DMK president and former Chief Minister M K Stalin also expressed sorrow over the loss and shared an emotional message on the social media platform X. Stalin described Ajith Kumar as his “dear brother” and said there were no words that could truly comfort someone grieving the loss of a mother. He praised Mohini Mani for supporting her son through his journey and witnessing his achievements and success in life.

AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami said he was “deeply saddened” by the news and noted that losing one’s mother is among the greatest emotional losses a person can face. He extended his deepest condolences to Ajith Kumar and his family during the painful time.

PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss also condoled the death of Mohini Mani and said he was shocked and saddened to learn of her passing after an illness. Calling the loss of a mother incomparable, he expressed sympathy to Ajith Kumar, his family members, friends, and admirers mourning the tragedy.
