Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Launched at ₹2.79 Lakh
Royal Enfield has launched its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in India at ₹2.79 lakh. Check price, 154km range, top speed, battery specs, features, Bengaluru bookings, delivery timeline, and Flying Flea S6 details.
Chennai: Royal Enfield is taking a bold and unconventional route into India’s growing electric two-wheeler market by skipping the mass commuter EV race and launching a premium electric sub-brand, Flying Flea. Instead of chasing volume sales, the company is focusing on riders who value heritage design, performance, and premium urban mobility.
The first motorcycle under this platform is the Flying Flea C6, with a scrambler-inspired S6 set to follow later. The C6 officially opens bookings and test rides in Bengaluru from April 10, while deliveries are expected to begin by late May 2026 in a phased rollout across India.
Priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric bike also comes with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership option that lowers the upfront price to ₹1.99 lakh. The lightweight motorcycle weighs 124 kg, delivers an IDC-certified range of 154 km, reaches a top speed of 115 km/h, and produces over 400 Nm of wheel torque, making it a strong contender in the premium EV space.
Royal Enfield says the Flying Flea lineup is built around a “city-plus” riding philosophy, designed not just for daily city commutes but also for short leisure rides and urban exploration. This positions it differently from mainstream electric scooters and commuter bikes that focus mainly on affordability and practicality.
The company has reportedly invested nearly ₹400 crore into its EV programme, including R&D and production readiness, signalling a long-term commitment to electric mobility. With Flying Flea, Royal Enfield aims to create a new premium electric motorcycle category rooted in its iconic legacy rather than directly competing in the price-sensitive commuter segment.
