In the process, she almost sealed a higher podium finish but finished 0.1 points behind South Korean Kim Ye Ji, who had to be content with silver. The gold medal was won by another Korean shooter, Oh Ye Jin, thus making it an exciting all-Asian contest at the top.

        At the age of 22, She claimed a medal. Three years later, during her sojourn at the Tokyo Olympics, where she learned some valuable lessons, she came back stronger and more determined. This bronze not only contributed another impressive addition to her cabinet of nine World Cup medals but also cemented a place in history as only the fifth Indian shooter ever to win an Olympic medal.
