Youth Attacked Brutally in Modinagar, Ghaziabad; Serious Injuries Reported

A shocking incident of road violence has been reported from the Modinagar police station area in Ghaziabad, where a young man was allegedly assaulted by a group of four individuals. The victim, who was returning home after work, sustained serious injuries to both hands after being attacked with sticks.

Incident Near Gadana Village

According to preliminary information, the victim was traveling on a scooter towards the Bhojpur area after completing his work in Ghaziabad. When he reached near Gadana village, a car allegedly intercepted his vehicle from the side, forcing him to stop.

It is reported that four men were inside the car. One of them reportedly stepped out carrying a stick, and along with the others, began assaulting the young man without any warning. The sudden attack left the victim unable to defend himself.

Brutal Assault and Injuries

During the attack, the accused allegedly struck the victim multiple times, causing severe injuries to both of his hands. Local sources suggest that the assault continued until nearby commotion started drawing attention.

As people began to gather, the attackers reportedly panicked and fled the scene in their vehicle, heading towards the Bhojpur route. The injured victim was left on the roadside in a badly hurt condition.

Immediate Medical Help

After the attackers escaped, the victim managed to contact the Modinagar police and informed them about the incident. Police teams quickly responded and shifted him to the Govindpuri Community Health Center (CHC) for urgent medical treatment.

Doctors have confirmed that the injuries are serious, especially on both hands, and further medical observation is required.

Police Investigation Underway

The Modinagar police have started a detailed investigation into the case. Officials are examining CCTV footage from nearby roads and establishments to identify the vehicle and trace the suspects involved in the attack.

Modinagar ACP Bhaskar Verma stated that the case is being taken seriously and action will be initiated based on evidence collected during the investigation. He added that efforts are underway to identify and arrest the accused at the earliest.

At present, the motive behind the attack remains unclear. Police are exploring several angles, including personal dispute, previous enmity, or a random act of violence. Statements from locals and technical evidence are being collected to uncover the truth.
