Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella EV Launched in India at Rs 23.60 Lakh

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella has officially been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 23.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Toyota’s latest electric SUV enters the growing EV market with premium features, modern styling, and advanced safety technologies.

Built on the same platform as the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, the Urban Cruiser Ebella gets a unique design language inspired by Toyota’s latest global EV lineup. The SUV features a bold hammerhead-style front fascia, sleek LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, sporty bumpers, and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels that enhance its road presence.

Inside, the Ebella offers a premium dual-tone cabin loaded with advanced features. It comes equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 colour options, sliding and reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a JBL premium audio system for an enhanced in-cabin experience.

Toyota has also focused heavily on passenger safety. The electric SUV includes Level 2 ADAS features, a 360-degree camera, seven airbags, electronic stability systems, and multiple driver-assistance technologies designed to improve road safety and driving confidence.

Powering the Urban Cruiser Ebella is a 61 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 171 BHP and 193 Nm of torque. The SUV promises smooth performance, instant acceleration, and efficient urban and highway driving.

Toyota is also offering customer-friendly ownership benefits, including an 8-year battery warranty, assured buyback plans, and flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) options, making EV ownership more convenient and affordable for Indian buyers.
