The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has officially announced the SSLC/Class 10 Public Exam Result 2026. Students who appeared for the examination can now check and download their provisional marksheets through the official result portals using their registration number and date of birth.

The Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2026 was released during an official press conference, where board authorities also shared overall performance statistics, district-wise data, and school-wise pass percentages.

This year, Tamil Nadu recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.31% in the SSLC/Class 10 public examinations.

Girls once again performed better than boys in the state board examinations.

• Girls Pass Percentage: 96.47%
• Boys Pass Percentage: 92.15%

Government schools across Tamil Nadu also showed strong performance, registering a pass percentage of 91.86%.

In addition, a total of 5,171 schools secured a 100% pass result in the SSLC examinations this year. Out of these, 1,931 were government schools, highlighting improved academic performance in the public education sector.
