VinFast Teases Limo Green in the Indian Market: Testing Phase Ends, Launch Date Near

VinFast has officially started teasing its upcoming Limo Green electric MPV in the Indian market, signalling that the vehicle is now very close to launch. The company recently updated its India fanpage cover image with a blurred silhouette of a new car and the message “Coming Soon,” strongly hinting at the arrival of the much-awaited Limo Green.

Although the automaker has not directly revealed the model name, the vehicle’s boxy MPV stance, long wheelbase, and spacious proportions clearly match the Limo Green that has been seen multiple times during road tests across Indian cities and highways.

This teaser marks the first official confirmation from VinFast India that the all-electric 7-seater MPV is entering its final pre-launch stage. Over the past few months, several test mules have been spotted undergoing extensive real-world validation, suggesting that VinFast has been fine-tuning ride comfort, battery efficiency, and software systems specifically for Indian road conditions.

Industry reports suggest that the Limo Green will target both family buyers and premium fleet operators, while a parallel MPV 7 version may cater to private consumers with added premium features. The EV MPV is expected to feature a 60.13 kWh battery pack, 450 km claimed range (NEDC), and 80 kW DC fast charging support, enabling 10–70% charging in around 30 minutes.

The official launch is expected in mid-April 2026, with some reports pointing toward April 15 as the likely debut date. Once launched, the Limo Green will compete with the Kia Carens Clavis EV, BYD eMAX 7, and Mahindra XEV 9S in India’s growing electric MPV segment.

With this launch, VinFast aims to strengthen its presence in India by entering the high-demand 7-seater EV category, a segment currently seeing strong interest from both private and commercial buyers.
