Varun Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Postponed After Yash’s Toxic Delay

The release date of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun Dhawan, has been officially rescheduled following the delay of Yash’s much-awaited action film, Toxic.

Initially, the romantic comedy was planned for a May 22, 2026, release to avoid a box office clash with Toxic, which was earlier set to hit theatres on June 4, 2026. However, with Toxic now postponed, the makers have decided to revert to the film’s original release timeline.

Taking to social media, Varun Dhawan confirmed that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will now release on June 5, 2026. He also expressed gratitude to Yash and Maddock Films for their support in reshuffling the release calendar.

In his announcement, Varun shared a new poster and wrote that the film will be the first theatrical release after the IPL season, making it a significant date for Bollywood releases.

This strategic shift avoids a major box office clash and ensures better visibility for both films.
