Scaler School of Technology Launches Innovative Undergraduate Program in AI and Business

India’s higher education ecosystem is undergoing a major transformation with the launch of a pioneering undergraduate program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business by the Scaler School of Technology. This four-year, full-time residential degree is designed to equip students with the skills needed to thrive at the intersection of technology, product innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Singh further emphasises that modern creators must go beyond technical skills. He highlights that successful innovators today must master system design, choose the right problems to solve, and build sustainable business models.

With this philosophy, the program is designed to deliver hands-on, experiential learning, enabling students to continuously design, test, refine, and scale real-world products throughout their academic journey.

Structured, Step-by-Step Learning Framework

The undergraduate program follows a progressive, year-wise curriculum that builds technical and business competencies systematically:

Year 1: Building Strong Foundations

Students begin with the essentials of computer programming, mathematics for AI, communication skills, and analytical thinking, supported by practical projects that encourage problem-solving and creativity.

Year 2: Advanced Systems and Business Basics

The second year focuses on AI model development, production-grade system design, data engineering pipelines, and core business concepts, preparing students to understand both the technical and commercial aspects of modern products.

Year 3: Startup Exposure and Product Development

In collaboration with the Scaler Innovation Lab, students work closely with emerging startups. They contribute to real product development, analyse growth strategies, and tackle operational challenges, gaining firsthand exposure to startup ecosystems.

Year 4: Founders Mode – Startup Creation

The final year places students in “Founders Mode,” where each student conceptualises, builds, and attempts to scale their own AI-driven startup. This immersive experience is designed to foster entrepreneurial thinking and leadership.
