India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra qualified for the finals in the men’s javelin throw event in the first throw on August 6, Tuesday. He started throwing with a monstrous 89.34-meter throw right at the start. He never threw again as he threw in the first attempt it crossed 84 meters which was a spot.
He threw one and it was done. He earned automatic qualification by crossing 84 meters spot. He is in first place for throwing the javelin with a distance of 89.34m which was done yesterday. Other athletes who qualified for finals are A. Peters from Grenada, A. Nadeem from Pakistan, L.M. da Silva from Brazil, A. Mardare from the Republic of Moldova, and L. Etelatalo from Finland.
